Mad Hatters Tea Party on Saturday the 10th from 1pm – 3pm at Capra HC on 300 Old Geelong Rd in Hoppers Crossing. The afternoon tea is $10 per person, there will be trivia and people chatting to celebrate Mental Health Week. No need to book, just turn up!
Colourful Thoughts Art Exhibition, Tamara Marie is exhibiting her resin works which relate to mental health and reflect the surrounding issues, exploring the impact mental health conditions have on people and their families. In a special hour long programme, part of 3CR’s day long broadcast for the International Day of People With Disabilities, Ben Rinaudo interviews four guests: Aleisha Carroll the technical advisor with the Disability Inclusive Department at CBM, Joel and Helen Fernandes from the Leprosy Mission and the National Disabled Peoples Organisation in East Timor and Dr Erminia Colucci the producer of the documentary film Breaking the Chains. They will all be discussing disability inclusive development in low to middle income countries.
