Brainwaves – 20 July – National Disability Insurance Scheme

On todays show we talk about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) with David Parker and Elena Ashley from JobCo. We talk about what the NDIS is, what it means for consumers and how it fits in with the current mental health care system. JobCo is a not-for-profit organisation which can help consumers find resources relating to the implementation of the NDIS. Brainwaves – 3 December – International Day of People with Disabilities

In a special hour long programme, part of 3CR’s day long broadcast for the International Day of People With Disabilities, Ben Rinaudo interviews four guests: Aleisha Carroll the technical advisor with the Disability Inclusive Department at CBM, Joel and Helen Fernandes from the Leprosy Mission and the National Disabled Peoples Organisation in East Timor and Dr Erminia Colucci the producer of the documentary film Breaking the Chains. They will all be discussing disability inclusive development in low to middle income countries.
